Lottery Draw Results

image of lottery drawThere are three prize winners each month in our Village Centre fundraising lottery and you might be one of them! But you have to be in it to win it, so if you’re not already subscribing to our fundraising Lottery, please go to the fundraising page on our website and sign up. It’s really important to keep the money rolling in, because the Centre costs a substantial amount to run and there are still many additions and improvements that we want to make, for the benefit of all users.

The February draw took place in the Dersingham Village Centre on Tuesday 12th February, during the interval at the monthly Village Voice Live talk. The winning numbers were:

1st prize, number 54 winning £33.75
2nd prize, number 39 winning £22.50
3rd prize, number 60 winning £11.25

The March draw took place in the Dersingham Village Centre on Tuesday 12th March, during the interval at the monthly Village Voice Live talk. The winning numbers were:

2nd prize, number 72 winning £20.50
3rd prize, number 13 winning £10.25

Friendship Lunch – Tuesday 12th March

Our twice monthly Friendship Lunches continue, with the next one being on Tuesday 26th March. Lunches in March are on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays, but note that from April they will move to the 1st and 3rd Tuesday.

It’s an opportunity to enjoy a simple home-cooked lunch in the company of others. Have a chat, have a hot meal and while away an hour or two.

Due to the popularity of these lovely lunches, you must book in advance. Telephone Shirley Brooks on 01485 540644 to reserve your place. Any special dietary requirements must be notified in advance. The lunch will cost £5 and you should arrive for 12.45pm.

Village Voice Live takes to the Tracks

The next talk in our popular Village Voice Live series is coming up this Tuesday 12th March, and who can resist a talk about steam trains! The Mid-Norfolk railway is a heritage line that has been running successfully for many years. Paddy Anstey will tell us all about it in this illustrated talk.

The talk will be in the Main Hall of the Village Centre and will begin at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £5 on the door and include refreshments and raffle.
