The Dersingham Village Cinema will screen our latest film on this Tuesday 25th February at 7.30pm.
February’s film is The Critic (15). Ian McKellen gives a superb performance as a vitriolic theatre critic who finally gets his comeuppance. The cast included Gemma Arterton and Lesley Manville in this British period thriller.
The film will commence at 7.30pm and tickets are available on the door, priced at £6 with under 16s £3. Entry includes a cup of tea, coffee or squash. A licensed bar is available.
Throughout the day on Monday 10th February there will be free drop-in sessions in the Centre to inform local residents about the forthcoming switch-over to digital landline telephones.
The sessions will be from 11am until 3pm in the Garden Room at the Centre. This is your chance to learn more about the switch-over to internet based landlines, which, despite several delays, is inevitably going to happen and might impact you and your use of your landline phone. For many people the changeover will be straightforward, but it’s best to be informed!
