Yes, we’re up and running, but the official opening date is next Saturday 20th October, when the new building will be opened by Cllr Nick Daubney, Mayor of King’s Lynn. This will be followed by a week of special events, when you can drop in and see the new Centre, have a cuppa in the pop up cafe, and find out more about what’s going on.

Saturday 20th October – Open Day and Activity Market Place – 11.00am – 4.00pm – from ballet to flower arranging, computers to bridge, whatever takes your fancy there will be an opportunity to sign up, learn more or just chat to course organisers. Suggest other classes, feedback very welcome. Official opening at 11.00am by the Mayor of King’s Lynn.
Sunday 21st October – Charity Community Lunch – 12.30 – 2.00pm – £12 or as much as you want to give, for a 3 course lunch. All profits will help the Village Centre Charity. To book, call in to Dersingham Post Office and put your contact details on the list there.
22nd – 26th October – Pop In Week – come along and see classes in action and look round the new building. Anytime from 9.30am till 4.30pm . We hope to have a pop-up cafe in operation throughout the week.
20th – 27th October – Art Trail Taster Exhibition – see the work of local artists who are members of the Dersingham Art Trail. This show will be a taster for our Art Trail opening on the weekend of 1st and 2nd December.
26th October – Tea Dance – 2.30 pm – 4.30pm – £5 per head includes tea and cake. Tickets available on the door.
27th October – Ceilidh & Barn Dance to celebrate our wonderful new Hall. Live music with Ceilidh band Whirligig. Get a group together and share a table. 7.00pm – 10.30 pm – ticket price £9 (includes food). Tickets are now on sale at Dersingham Post Office.
