The next film to be shown at our monthly Village cinema screenings is Bohemian Rhapsody. For anyone who has even a passing familiarity with the music of the band Queen, the film title makes it pretty clear what the movie is all about. Yes, the life and tempestuous times of lead singer Freddie Mercury. Rami Malik plays Mercury and he certainly captures the showman to a ‘T’. There is, of course, a soundtrack of the band’s innumerable hits, as the film charts Queen’s meteoric rise to fame and Mercury’s rather tortured life and premature death in 1991.
The film will be shown at 7.30pm on Tuesday 27th August in the main hall of Dersingham Village Centre. tickets cost £5, children £2.50. Free tea or coffee is included and other drinks are available to buy. Bohemian Rhapsody is certificate 12A.
