Just a reminder that we are relaunching our Sunday Social afternoons in 2023, which will be held monthly on the last Sunday of each month. From 2 – 4pm we offer a warm welcome and the chance to meet other local people, have a chat, maybe play cards or games. The coffee shop will be open, so that you can buy tea, coffee or other warming drinks.
The first Sunday Social will be on this Sunday, the 29th January and the event itself is free, just come along. It may be possible to offer transport to anyone who has difficulties in that area. If you need to discuss this, please phone Judy on 01485 540271 or 07425 138160. We look forward to welcoming you!

Every month there’s a chance to win a Village Centre Lottery prize. By taking part in the Lottery you directly help the Centre with both day-to-day running expenses and with our rolling programme of updating and improving the furniture and equipment of the Centre. Of course, we would love to have more players so that the Centre gets even more help.
This month’s draw was made on Friday 6th January 2023. The results are: First prize, number 52 winning £24.00. Second prize number 44 winning £16.00 and third prize number 39 winning £8.00.
If you know anyone who would like to join the lottery then you’ll be giving us a big helping hand. It costs just £5 per month and the more players the bigger the prize fund. Anyone can join the lottery draw online by visiting our Village Centre Fundraising page

An update to our recent post about carol singing at 5pm this Tuesday 20th December. Don’t worry, it’s still going ahead but will now be an indoor event, so please make your way in through the main Centre entrance. We look forward to welcoming you.
To help the vocals there will be light refreshments provided. The event is free but a donation to the Centre would be appreciated. Merry Christmas!
Christmas is coming and it wouldn’t be complete without singing a few carols! Once again we invite you to Christmas Carols at the Village Centre at 5pm on Tuesday 20th December. This will be an outdoor event, so dress warmly, although if the weather is too wintery then we will move into the Centre building. There will be musicians and singers, as before, but also the opportunity for you to sing along to all those well known traditional tunes.
To help the vocals there will be light refreshments provided. The event is free but a donation to the Centre would be appreciated. Merry Christmas!
