The next of our regular monthly events will be on this coming Tuesday the 11th February.  Dr Paul Richards, the well known Lynn historian, will be giving a talk about Lynn Minster, from 1100 until the present day. The Minster is still remembered as St Margarets, an iconic King’s  Lynn landmark and this will definitely be a fascinating evening.

The talk will begin at 7.30pm and tickets cost £5 on the door. There will be an interval when tea, coffee and cake will be served and a prize raffle will be drawn. Your refreshments and raffle are included in the ticket price.

Lottery Draw February 2020

image of lottery drawEvery month there’s a chance to win a Village Centre Lottery prize and also the chance to have that warm glow feeling that you’re helping raise funds for the Village Centre. Why raise funds? Because we are constantly trying to improve the level of equipment at the Centre, so that it becomes an even better resource for the community.  For example, just yesterday we bought a new fridge to stand in the corner of the Garden Room, so that users can keep their food and drink cool in the warmer weather. Please keep up the good work, we need your support!

The most recent draw of Lottery prizewinners was made on Tuesday 4th February 2020 at our popular community lunch. Winners are as follows:

First prize, number 29 winning £28.50. Second prize number 55 winning £19.00 and third prize number 28 winning £9.50. Congratulations to the lucky prize winners. Subscribe to our Lottery and you could join those winners, plus you’ll be giving us a big helping hand. Thank you!
